But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

I have just renewed my subscription using that very out dated system known as a personal cheque. Sorry to use such an outmoded method of payment but I am one of those who has had problems with PayPal and sadly will not use that system (I don't think I'm alone in that view).
I was going to use the alternative Nochex system but am fearful that would start an automated payment cycle which can be very difficult to stop on a credit card so I do not want to do that. Also there are some adverse comments about that system too.
While this may sound contradictory I do trust my own banks online banking system, would it be possible to offer details to allow me to set up a payment from my bank to PocketGPSWorld?
Also, just a suggestion but any chance the renewal reminder could be sent a little sooner, perhaps 10 -14 days. Have received the reminder at just under 5 days and suspect the cheque transaction will take time to process.

Hi Jet1,
Nochex do not initiate an automated payment cycle, it is a one-off payment.
And just to reassure others who may read this, the PayPal automated payment cycle is easy to cancel and those who might have difficulty cancelling, we will do it on their behalf.
Also, those who forget to cancel, get charged and don't want a continued subscription, we simply refund them as long as they haven't downloaded the database after the intended expiry date.
We've got all your backs' covered _________________ Robert Brady
