Hi All;

I would like to find out if is possible to extract or even view, the last journey's statistics, such as:

- Top Speed;
- Average Speed;
- Distance;
- Journey Time, etc.

Maybe a plug-in of some sort?

Thanks

It may be possible if someone were to write an SDK plug-in but as it currently stands this facility is not available.

GPS Speed Sentry may be the application you are looking for, but this needs to be running during the journey.

Details of the program can be found at http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~tchart/gps_ss.htm

By using an application in conjunction with TT5, is quite difficult and perhaps not possible. If is not a plug-in to TT5, as the other application will try to access the same com port which is being locked/used by TT5, causing the second application not work.

I am still searching the web for it.

Thanks

If you want to use mutiple GPS based programs for a WM2003SE device get fransons GPS Gate utility, this will permit multiples simultanous use of the GPS. For WM2005 based units configure the inbuilt GPS icon to achieve the same result. For data logging I use Memory Map at the same time as TomTom, works a treat - Mike

Hi Guys;

I have tested the GPSGate ( http://franson.com/gpsgate/) software by running TT5 and GPSDash ( http://wimobi.com/gpsdash/news.ppc2.php ) at the same time, and I was able to keep the trip's data saved on my SD card and I was able to playback the log file after the journey.

I haven't noticed any performance issues at all. Everything worked as it did before when I run then individually.

Thank you all for you help.

Lucio

Hi

Just to add to the performance issue. I have been running GPS Gate for over a year now and I generally have TT, Navio, GPS Speed Sentry and sometimes even my sailing GPS software all running all at the same time and this doesn't seem to effect performance at all.

I found the journay capture information excellent and I also find the six speed warning settings very useful.
