my first post & id just like to thank graham for taking the time to post an explaination of how to use checkpoint with the speed camera database.being a newbie i was completely in the dark about which files to place where .ive followed grahams instructions and it seems ok (so far ). _________________ tom tom one classic v4 |

Thanks for the feed back guys. It's not always obvious from the software instructions as to what is needed in detail, where the files need to be placed and how to get to the various options to complete the installation. Pleased others have found it useful. _________________ Graham.

sined up months ago, tried to get this up and running, failed, failed and failed again. gave up. came back to it today found this thead up and running in 10 mins.

Will Graham's very helpful instructions at the beginning of this thread work with TTN5? Also does Checkpoint 2.0 work with TTN5?

Unfortunately no as in order to get CheckPOInt to work with TT V5 it would require TT to release an updated SDK file for V5 and for CheckPOInt to be updated to work. Until that has been done you would only be able to use the POI feature that TT put in to V5 which will be the same as the GO V5. _________________ Graham.

Can i just say i brought myself a Mio 168 - installed Tom Tom 3 software onto it that a friend gave me and i installed the Speed Cam database onto it using the instructions at the start of this thread and just like to say big thank you.
