If you really get stuck, I'd happily knock one up for you - just mail me what info you want added...

Im going to put my car registration on my i3 in etched widow fasion. Anything to hinder the little toe rags is good. Though they will have to prise it from my dead fingers first.

Cool program Smile

No posts for a week then three come along at once. Here is my effort with my footy team on the plate. Im sure if it gets to the police they will work out the details where to return it. No reason to edit this one out either. I for one would not buy a Sat Nav with this popping up on start.

If anyone wants a free custom one made then just email me.

You can use an application called xImage which you can get from here to download the splash screen and other screen shots.

You can also change the splash screen and upload it back to the i3. Here is one that I did earlier. Smile

Not very imaginative but it illustrates the point.

Hmm refuses to upload for me - just added some text in white using Photosuite 4 but just get an error box Sad

Image MUST be EXACTLY 220 pixels wide and 176 pixels high - this will result in an image of 113Kb.

Image MUST be called EXACTLY Splash Screen.bmp (with space and capitalisation...)

Any joy?

Just double-checked, image is 220 x 176 and 113kb - I downloaded the splash screen from the i3 edited it with MGI Photosuite 4 and saved replacing the original, hence same name but no joy.

Update - just downloaded the Thundercats image to try and got the blue progress bar saying it had downloaded to the i3 - switched off then back on but still has the original screen!! Plot thickens!
