GO 300 NO GPS DEVICE ?

Help !
2 days old and no more sats being picked up.
tomtom screen tells me no GPS device ?
have tryed the reset button, and also the software reset, still the same.
even used a backup of the card, and still the same.
looks like this 300 is on it's way back to the store

Have you tried formatting the SD card before you restore it?

Other than that I think you'd better make that trip to the store - if you've only had it 2 days you're entilted to a replacment or a refund if they have none in stock.

You shouldn't have to wait for a repair.

Hi

I have had my TTG 300 for a few days.

When I switch it on to use, it seems to take a few minutes to locate my satellite signal - is this normal? Once it is on, it doesn't lose the signal. I was always under the impression that once switched on the signal is almost instantaneous?
