Probably a thick question but... using TTG in a US vehicle

Hi all,

This'll probably sound silly but I'd rather be sure before I go...

I'm taking my TTG to Florida in October (man I hope the new maps are out before then ) and it occured to me to think about whether USA cars have the same type of cigarette lighter adapter as we do here. Or will I need to get hold of a specific USA car charging cable?

If anybody is able to let me know the score, I'd be really grateful.
