I have a problem with Navigon 5 paired with BT 338. I have a hp 4705, fire up the software and gets a fix but after 5 mins loses my fix. When i click the sattelite icon, it says that "GPS receiver has been detected, but a convenient signal is not available" and have to restart the software and same goes again after about 5 mins. I tried all settings but still the same..my final settings are:

Type of receiver: other receiver
Com-Port: com 8
Baud rate : 4800

ANybody has an experience like these? ANy help and suggestion will be highly appreciated..Thanks

I have the same set-up as you and have no problems with the pairing but the software leaves a lot to be desired. After approx. 5 minutes the software will just close. There appears to be a serious problem running MN5 on a 4700/4705. There is a current discussion on a German board about this.
I've tried it on a standard 4700 and a 4700 which has been upgraded with extra ram and it will not work on either.
