deleting addresses ?

Hi all, is it possible to delete the addresses in the TTG, i have tried but can not find a way...I have a lot in mine..

This question has been asked a number of times on the forum. There is no way of removing earlier / previous navigation addresses. The GO operates a FIFO system (First IN, First OUT) on your navigation address list so once you have used your GO for a while there will always be (24 I think) addresses in memory.

So, stop searching for a way of deleting them - you can't.

Now, if you want to avoid the embarrasment of your partner discovering that you actually visited your current mistress instead of going fishing there are a number of solutions...

a) don't ever put your mistresses address in your GO. You know where she lives so you don't need your GO to help you.
b) invent and route 24 new spurious journies to innocent locations to force the GO to overwrite the offending address.
c) don't let your partner have your GO. Buy her her own!

Ff I said I have never had to avail myself of any of the above you would not believe me. So I won't!!

If, on the other hand (see my earlier post) you want to delete "favourites" this is very simple.

Tap the screen, Change preferences, tap right facing arrow to get more preferences (immediately above "Done", Manage Favourites.

You will see a list of your favourite addresses.

Tap on one you wish to delete - tap "Delete". You will get a "PLEASE CONFIRM" screen - tap "YES"

Repeat for any others you want to delete.
