Thaks to CdRsKuLL for his efforts. I just installed Destinator at the weekend and I'm still playing with it, but so far I'm pretty impressed. I've downloaded the safety camera stuff but haven't tried it yet.

Question for CdRsKuLL: What did you have to do to the data to make it work with Destinator. Was it a lot of work?

Question for forum staff: Is it possible to have updated files made available in a Destinator usable format?

There is probably a copyright issue problem, but what you can do instead is take the TomTom database and convert that from TT3 format to D3 format. I have done this with several POIs, but to be honest they are of limited use as you can't say "show me the nearest xxxx", you have to know which POI you want to go to.

Got the latest version, but when I load csv camera files (after re-organising columns and deleting headings) into Auto Alert I can only load 1 file. The next one seems to overwrite the previous. I have had to copy all the files, gatso, spec etc, into 1 new file. This loads OK, but not yet tried on the road. Or was I doing something wrong?
