And if I do a reset will i loose all of my favourites.
I wont take it personnally speak to me like I dont know what im doing and please help me out on installing these on my tom tom go.
Thanks |

Hi Michaelm,
Have you read the guide on how to install (camera database) POIs onto a TomTom GO?

No the reset is a "soft" one, so your favourites will be OK.

Hi
I'm probably being overcautious or stupid , but does the "single file .zip" have everything that's in all the other seperate files?
Why are they all split up now?
Thanks

Hi fivelittlefish,
to the forum!
I suggest that you read the beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database, you should find your answers there.

Its a shame but niether CheckPOInt or POI-warner currently work with TOMTOM Navigator 5. I have just had a reply from POI-warners site www.navigating.de who have advised that a version ccompatible with TT NAV 5 will be availiable sometime later on this month as they are just putting the finishing touches to it but I cannot find anything out from CheckPOInt |

Yes and not necessarily. You might need to remove any unused voices as they are about 1MB each. A larger card would allow you to have more POI's, up to a max of 40 and also an additional map if you want to travel abroad in the future.
**** But before you do anything, fully Copy your SD card to your PC. **** _________________ Richard

I agree the database works with nav 5 but it doesn't have the advantages that are available through checkpoint or POI warner I.E countdown to poi etc... |

I notice them speed camera files are available as .csv for Destinator 3. I have Destinator ND that use .dat files (which I have no means of readind). Looking at the csv files and the data in my GPS they appear to be the same other than the csv files have one or two more records.
Is ND compatible with 3 and what do I need to do to use the files on this site? Many thanks for any help.
