After I install the TomTom 5.10 update, and look at version info, it says 5.00 (4890) ??
Does this mean the update is not taking properly?

Sorry - that was a typo on my account, it is set to NMEA, and I do a soft reset each time I put the SD501 in......I know it wont function at all unless you do this.
Have you got it to work with 470 ... |

I cant get Memory Map to recognise my Globstat SD501 GPS card - fires up fine in GPS Info, locks on to satellites no problem, on COM Port 6.
When I try "GPS - Setup" in Memory Map, and select NIMH ... |
