Ah, me understandi now, but I dont think my mate has the benefit of a good backup befopre the problems started....But I'm pretty sure once he gets sorted he will start making periodic backups.

if you backed up the last working config you had just re-install it and it should be ok
Would that not just re-intruduce the error? |

A friend of mine borrowed my sd card (with TT4 on it) and put it into his XDA IIs.
Now he is plagued by a message that reads:
"Cannot execute storage card\tom\tomtom\ttgpseng.exe"
