Used it for the first time last night ( 3.03 SW and GPS) on my 3850 and it is true...it's MILES ahead of Pocket Copilot 1.2 !!!!

Exccellent voice prompts, and those maps really looks good

But...

This morning on another testrun the map view froze...

Now i read many other have had this problem as well.......so.....

Will using the GPS 2.07 driver (like some suggest) cure these map lockups ?

I'm running the Wired version with the standard tomtom GPS mouse.

Many thanks

i do not think it is a GPS driver problem ,i think it is more likely to be a sd card problem ,what make card are you using? if its a Sandisc this could be the reason for your lockup, they are known to cause proplems.

Or the old infra-red port catching sunlight and disrupting the serial port stack problem. Turn Beam off if you have IR on the 3850.
