Installing Copilot Live

Hi, l'm trying to install copilot live on my spv c550, but all l keep getting is installation failed. because its not digitally signed with a trusted certificate. if l try with ActiveSync l get failed because the installation file not intended for this device. l've been messing about with it for hours now and getting pi**ed right off. Help

you need to select the wm2005 version is the set up when installing the desktop software sounds like you selected wm2003 and use a card reader its much quicker

l've just tried it again and you don't get a choice to select anything apart from language.

You may also have to "application unlock" your phone. (Do a google on it and you will find out how - I can't remember exactly off hand)

I had to do this on my C500 because Orange had insisted that all developers had their code digitally signed by Orange before they would allow it to be installed. They they backtracked and allowed people to do this "application unlock" to allow them to install third party software.

put the main installdisk in the computer it will ask you for desktop smartphone install select the later and then select wm2005

l think l've been sent the wrong one, l've got pocket pc not smartphone.

i dont have the box with at the moment but i think it should say on the front whether or no it for pocketpc or smartphone

just looked it says pocket pc, the one l ordered had smartphone and a picture of my phone.

l phoned Handnav on monday and was told because i've scratched off the product key code card l have to speek to ALK, l told ALK l have been sent the wrong version and they said someone will either email me or call me back, if not today (monday) tuesday. l've phoned them every day since and have still not got a reply and l can't get hold of Handnav either now.
What's my next move ? l wanted this copilot for Christmas, l'll be lucky to get it before the summer at this rate.

Well at last l got the ppc copilot changed to smartphone today and its working fine with the quick start card.
The only thing now is l want it on my mmc card and not on the smaller one it came on, l installed english uk but when l install to my card from the desktop(which works ok)it asks for zip code and not post code ?

All sorted now, not quite sure what l done but it all works ok.The safety cams are a bit hit or miss though.
