Sound of Silence ??

OK before I take the plunge and "update" to v5.21.
I've just started using the excellent POIcapture plus Checkpoint 5.0.2.0

I have changed by data.chk file to include the "Silent Cow"!!

If I go to v5.21 will my old .chk file work, if I copy it back?

I also run TT5 in landscape mode, so will POIcapture actually run ok ?

I'm actually quite happy with TT5 at the moment, except for the irratating
random jumping around the screen & not being able to see all my custom poi's.

So am I in danger of breaking something that isn't really broke?

According to the TT website it looks like this updatee does nothing but introuduce new hardware to the existing bugs. I am happy to be proved wrong - but it looks like all my bug reports were wasted as even TT4 bugs I reported are still there.

I am running 5,2 with a data.chk file from 5,1 and it does work without doubt. What doesn't work is the extended warnings so long as you stick to the 15 TT supplied / modified ones you will be OK, at the moment it is not possible to get the 30 individual warnings on TTN5,2 - Mike
