What is the differents between v5.00 AND V5.202. Can someone tell me please because V5.00 holds more POI's than V5.202 . Many thanks PAUL |

Hi there,
5.202 are being used for a program from scaredycat it has more pages and a quick cam thingy etc have read on some thread that next update will increase the poi again think that is what i read |

The last 'official' release from TomTom is 5.201.
Details of the changes are here for 5.1
here for 5.2
and here for 5.201
What ISN'T mentioned there is the 27 POI category bug, as that was only discovered later.
As said above 5.202 was produced by Scaredycat for use with his apps. |

Not exactly, the 5.202 is beta version for developers made by tomtom, but improve your satellite reception in my opinion.
If you want just the firmware 5.202 to try here the link:
http://www.poigps.com/users/quizface/ttgoapp-5.202.zip
Copy the 6 files in to the root of your SD.

I agree with Quizface regarding better satellite reception, I don't know how this has come about but when I do not use my external aerial reception is much better than it used to be.
I will still be using my aerial simply because with it attached signal strength is of the scale. _________________ TTG 300,External Aerial

The files replace the system, ttsystem etc files. I would think that they are in the Root of the HD. Do a search with explorer, find ttsystem, and that's where they GO. _________________ Richard
