Despite my better jugement I allowed Home to install the latest version.
Now when I plan a route and go to check it and zoom in the app/device freezes.
Anyone know where I can download the previous version?
v2.5.2.60 if I recall correctly |

I had the same problem with the emulator freezing after a few operations. I received the following reply from TomTom Support
These instructions should resolve your issue but they are for windows XP, if you have a mac or vista please let me know before you try this
If you receive any error message when using the 'Operate My device' feature of TomTom Home, then please do the following:-
STEP 1 Manually Delete the Emulator Files
- Open My Computer
- At the top, click on Tools - Folder Options
- Click on the View tab
- Select the Option 'Show Hidden files and folders' then click OK
- In My Computer go to the following folder:-
c:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\(random string)\extensions
- Delete all the files and folders inside the 'Extensions' folder.
STEP 2 Connect to your device
- Connect your device to the computer and switch it on
- Open TomTom Home
- Click on the 'Operate My Go/One' icon
- TomTom Home will ask you to download a file, please go ahead and do this
The Operate My device feature should now be working.
I followed the instructions, but the emulator still freezes!

I told TomTom that the above fix did not work and they passed it up to the next level. Today I got the following reply:
Our technical team have responded to my escalation and informed me that this is a know problem with 'Operate My device' in tom tom Home 2.6. They say our IT department are currently working on a resolution to this and are releasing a new version of tom tom Home on Thursday. Please update your version of home when the new one is available.
So let's see what Thursday's update brings!

Well I'm asuming that the 'new and improved' version of Home hasn't appeared today as promised? |
